Hello World (2026)!
The last time I wrote a blog post, it was July 24, 2010. I was probably typing it on my first laptop, a beat up Acer with a wonky screen. Blogging was a thing I did back then just for fun. Then life got in the way.
And sixteen years went by just like that. It’s really crazy when you think about it.
Life happened. Work happened. I got married, had a kid, co-founded some companies, nearly lost everything, and somehow came out the other side. Making space to write, and just to do the crazy things we did just for fun fell away.
To be honest, i’ve been thinking about writing again for some time now, but I always felt like an imposter. But lately I’ve been learning so much that feels like a waste not sharing. Running both Epitome and Coursepad taught me things about leadership that weren’t in any book. And most recently, building with AI tools like have changed how I think and work completely.
So here I am. Writing again after 16 years.
I’m not going to promise a cadence. I tried that before and we see how that went. I’ll write when I have something worth saying.
Topics will probably include:
- What I’m learning as a founder (the real stuff, not the LinkedIn version)
- AI workflows that actually work in practice
- The messy middle of building things
- Occasionally, the intersection of ambition and inner work
If that sounds interesting, stick around. If not, no hard feelings.
Let’s see where this goes!
